Special D-Day Commemoration Concert to Mark America 250 Semiquincentennial
The Symphony at Sunset D-Day Commemoration Concert will take place on Saturday, June 6, on the grounds of the Eisenhower Presidential Library and Museum. This highly anticipated, free event will honor the nation's founding principles and the sacrifices of the D-Day generation.
The music program will feature patriotic classics, President Dwight D. Eisenhower's personal favorite musical pieces, and selections sourced from the Library archives. Highlighting regional talent, the performance will feature the Salina Symphony, 1st Infantry Division Band, and Salina Symphony Youth Choir.
